HSBC stake now 6.2%

HSBC Holdings Plc notified the company on 30 September that as of 29 September
2008 it held voting rights in respect of 19,959,045 shares in the capital of
the company which represents 6.2% of the total voting rights in Bodycote plc as
at that date (7.51% on 9 September 2008).
