L&G increases stake to 4.01%

Legal & General Group plc notified the Company on 31 October 2007 that as at 17
October 2007 it held 12,999,910 shares of Bodycote International plc
representing 4.01% of Bodycote's issued share capital (previously 3.86% on 16
October 2007).
