Bodycote announces that Mrs Sandra Higgins (wife of Gerry Higgins PDMR in
respect of Materials Testing) sold 10,000 shares at 219p each on 14 September
2005.

Following the sale Mr Higgins' share interests comprise 23,655 shares
registered as follows:
