Bodycote announces that Mr Michael Hallas, PDMR in respect of Bodycote's
Northern European Thermal Processing operations, and his wife have today sold
6,408 and 5,221 shares respectively at 275.5p.

Following the sale Mr Hallas' share interests comprise 199,596 shares
registered as follows:

In addition Mr Hallas has 151,810 options over ordinary shares exercisable
