Share purchases by Chairman and Deputy Chairman

Bodycote International plc announces that Company Chairman, James Wallace,
notified the company that he had today bought 25,000 shares at 192p per share.
Mr Wallace's beneficial interests now total 132,287 shares.

Bodycote further announces that its new non-executive Deputy Chairman, Alan
Thomson, notified the company that he had also today bought 25,000 shares at
192p per share.
