Standard Life interest now 13.29%

Standard Life Investments Limited notified the Company on 7 March 2008 that as
at 6 March 2008 it held voting rights in respect of 42,755,974 shares of
Bodycote International plc representing 13.29% of the voting rights in
Bodycote's issued share capital (previously 12.02% on 16 January 2008).
