Standard Life notify voting rights of 10.78%

Standard Life Investments Limited notified the Company on 4 October 2010 that
as at 1 October 2010 it held voting rights in respect of 20,459,003 shares of
Bodycote plc representing 10.78% of the voting rights in Bodycote's issued
share capital (previously 9.32% on 2 August 2010).
