Standard Life Investments Limited (on behalf of itself and Standard Life Group)
notified the Company on 21 December 2006 that it now held 32,293,670 shares
(including material and non-material interests) of Bodycote International plc
representing 10.02% of Bodycote's issued share capital (previously 5.42% on 8
December 2006).
