Standard Life's voting rights at 12.79%

Standard Life Investments Limited notified the Company on 10 February 2009 that
as at 9 February 2009 it held voting rights in respect of 23,961,841 shares of
Bodycote plc representing 12.79% of the voting rights in Bodycote's issued
share capital (previously 13.75% on 5 February 2009).
