Standard Life voting rights at 13.75%

Standard Life Investments Limited notified the Company on 6 February 2009 that
as at 5 February 2009 it held voting rights in respect of 25,754,058 shares of
Bodycote plc representing 13.75% of the voting rights in Bodycote's issued
share capital (previously 14.5% on 10 March 2008).
