Standard Life voting rights now 11.02%

Standard Life Investments Limited notified the Company on 8 October 2010 that
as at 7 October 2010 it held voting rights in respect of 20,914,538 shares of
Bodycote plc representing 11.02% of the voting rights in Bodycote's issued
share capital (previously 10.78% on 1 October 2010).
