Standard Life voting rights now at 6.78%

Standard Life Investments Limited notified the Company on 18 June 2009 that as
at 17 June 2009 it held voting rights in respect of 12,709,639 shares of
Bodycote plc representing 6.78% of the voting rights in Bodycote's issued share
capital (previously 7.8% on 11 June 2009).
