Capita selected as recommended supplier for the Army's Recruiting Partnering
Project
Capita plc confirms that the RPP Project Board has endorsed the Army's
selection of Capita as Recommended Supplier (RS) to partner with the MOD to
deliver the Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP) to the Army, and the enabling
ICT for the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force. The MOD expects to award a
contract in mid March 2012 once the procurement process is fully complete and
has been approved by Ministers.
The Recruiting Partnering Project is an initiative to meet both the quantity
and quality of recruits required for the Army's current and future needs. The
contract will modernise army recruiting and deliver significant savings to the
tax payer over 10 years.
A further announcement will be made in due course.
