Capita plc ('Capita') announces the appointment of Gillian Sheldon as an
Independent Non-Executive Director, with effect from 1 September 2012.
Gillian is a Senior Banker at Credit Suisse. She has substantial experience of
advising boards across a wide range of complex situations and transactions. She
joined Credit Suisse in 1997 prior to which she worked in Corporate Finance at
N M Rothschild & Sons.
She has a degree in Mathematics.
Previous roles have also included Chair of Bird & Co Group Advisory Board.
Gillian will be appointed to the Nomination, Remuneration and Audit Committees
on appointment.

The Board considers Gillian to be independent.
