Transaction in Own Shares

The Capita Group Plc ("the Company")

SHARE REPURCHASE

The Capita Group Plc announces that it purchased 850,000 ordinary shares in the
Company on 20th May 2010 at a price of 804.74p per share.

The purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase the Company holds 7,703,284 shares in Treasury and
has 619,774,411 shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
