Transaction in Own Shares

The Capita Group Plc ("the Company")

SHARE REPURCHASE

The Capita Group Plc announces that it purchased 348,925 ordinary shares in the
Company on 27th May 2010 at a price of 768.62p per share.

The purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase the Company holds 8,754,516 shares in Treasury and
has 618,723,179 shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
