Transaction in Own Shares

Capita Group plc ("the Company")

SHARE REPURCHASE

Capita Group plc announces that it purchased 174,806 ordinary shares in the
Company on 5 March 2010 at a price of 719.93p per share.

The purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase the Company holds 2,267,474 shares in Treasury and
has 622,567,417 shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
