Transaction in Own Shares

The Capita Group Plc ("the Company")

SHARE REPURCHASE

The Capita Group Plc announces that it purchased 300,000 ordinary shares in the
Company on 27th July 2010 at a price of 742.95p per share.

The purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase the Company holds 12,320,576 shares in Treasury
and has 615,157,119 shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
