The Capita Group Plc
In accordance with listing rule 12.6.4 The Capita Group Plc today has
transferred 396,315 shares held in Treasury to The Capita Group Employee
Benefit Trust. The total number of shares held in the trust following this
transfer is 10,668,305 and the Company no longer holds any shares in treasury.
The shares in the Employee Benefit Trust will be used for the satisfaction of
employee share schemes.
These shares have been transferred at nil consideration.
The Company advises that its capital consists of 617,751,569 ordinary shares
(as at 30th October 2008) of 2 1/15p each. The voting rights of these shares
are identical with each share carrying the right to one vote. The Company holds
no ordinary shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in
The Capita Group Plc is 617,751,569.
