Carnival plc ('the Company')

Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange Plc for a block listing of 1,000,000 Ordinary shares of US$1.66
each ('shares') to be admitted to the Official List.

These shares are being allotted to trade on the London Stock Exchange and to be
admitted to the Official List upon allotment pursuant to the Company's
obligations under the following schemes:

Participants in the schemes have or will become entitled to these shares
following the vesting of shares awards and the exercise of share options.

When issued these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares
of the Company.
