NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTION OF DIRECTOR 
 
    MIAMI, Aug. 1 -- On July 31, 2007, Carnival Corporation & plc 
(NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) was notified that on that date, Dr. Modesto 
Maidique, a member of Carnival Corporation & plc's boards of directors, 
purchased 1,000 shares of Carnival Corporation common stock at a price of 
$45.053 (USD) per share.  Following this transaction, Dr. Maidique owns an 
aggregate of 4,000 shares of common stock. 
    This notification relates to disclosures made in accordance with 
Disclosure Rule 3.1.4(R)(1)(a).
