Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) acquired shares of
Carnival Corporation common stock ("Shares") pursuant to the terms of the
restricted stock unit award granted on October 16, 2007 and, with respect to
Mr. Donald only, October 16, 2006 (the "Awards"). The shares represent
