MIAMI, July 29, 2013 -- Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK)
was notified on July 26, 2013 that on that day, Pier Luigi Foschi, a member of
Carnival Corporation & plc's Board of Directors, Chairman of Costa Crociere
S.p.A. and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Carnival Asia, sold 40,000
shares of Carnival plc Ordinary Shares ("Shares") on the London Stock Exchange
at 25.20 pounds Sterling per Share. Following this transaction, Mr. Foschi
continues to hold 114,793 Shares.

This notification relates to disclosures made in accordance with Rule 3.1.4(R)
(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.
