The Company was today informed that on 6 January 2006 W van Heesewijk, a
Director of the Company, purchased 2,500 Ordinary shares at a price of 184.5p
each.

Following this transaction W van Heesewijk holds 8,639 Ordinary shares
(representing 0.05% of the issued class of capital). These shares are
registered in the name of HSBC Global Custody Nominee (UK) Limited.

This announcement is made in accordance with Section 328 of the Companies Act.
