Transaction in Own Shares

CLS Holdings plc (the `Company')                        

                           Acquisition of own shares                           

The Company announces that, pursuant to its general authority by shareholders
of the Company on 23 May 2006 to make market purchases of its own shares, the
Company acquired 8,870 Ordinary shares on 13 June 2006 at a price of 530 pence
per Ordinary share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase the Company now holds 7,637,168 Ordinary shares as
treasury shares and the total number of Ordinary shares in issue excluding
shares held as treasury shares is 77,890,009.
