New dual core 6U CompactPCI® board
Concurrent Technologies Plc ("Concurrent") a world leading specialist in the
design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products, announces the
launch of its latest 6U CompactPCI® single board computer, the PP 402/04x. This
dual core processor uses the latest Intel® technology, allowing for improved
performance/Watt especially for low power processing applications within the
telecoms and defence markets
The board's enhanced processing capabilities and wide range of input/output
interfaces make it ideally suited to power sensitive, high performance
applications within Concurrent's target sectors. By continuing to bring forward
products that can provide high performance even in harsher conditions, the
Company is remaining focused on serving clients' needs; sales for the product
are expected from within the company's existing customer base as well as
attracting new users.

computer products for use in the telecommunications, defence, security,
telemetry, scientific and aerospace markets. Using the latest Intel® Core™ dual
core processors, the single board computers support high performance
applications, some being capable of operating in temperatures from -40ºC to +85

The PP 402/04x supports the 1.5 GHz and 2.16 GHz Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processors,

Windows® XP Embedded, LynxOS®, QNX® and VxWorks®.
