Concurrent Technologies Plc
New product range for harsher applications
Concurrent Technologies Plc ("Concurrent") a leading player in the development
of high-end embedded computer products announces the launch of the additional
range of single board computers supporting Intel® processors, called VP 337/02.
This new family of computer products has been developed to suit a variety of
applications including those within harsher environments found in defence and
industrial markets.
Typically, the VP 337/02 products expect to be ordered by customers involved in
extreme temperature and humidity operations such as the military, aerospace or
scientific sectors. In addition, Concurrent anticipates demand in the areas of
telecoms, telemetry and industrial control - indeed any application where
temperatures could be as low as minus 40°C or as high as 85°C.
The products incorporate many advanced features to enable them to operate in
harsh conditions without affecting their functionality and support many of
today's leading operating systems.
Glen Fawcett, Managing Director, commented:
"We have been moving steadily into the wide temperature marketplace over the
past few years. This range of boards not only strengthens our product offering
for our markeplace, but also offers users of our older products a very easy
upgrade path to newer technology as well to an environmentally compliant
product. Our customers already recognise Concurrent as providing the best
products for their needs and we are in no doubt that our new range will help
drive growth into fresh customer areas."
