Product Launch
Concurrent Technologies Plc ("Concurrent") a world leading specialist in the
design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products used in the
defence, transportation, communications and industrial markets, announces the
launch of a new computer product the AM 100/20x being a next generation
Advanced Mezzanine Card.
The Company believes that this product is a significant step towards winning
new customers principally within the digital communications market and will
also lead to projects from customers within the defence, security and
industrial markets.
To date, the Company has demonstrated considerable success in converting new
products into additional revenues, as demonstrated by sales of products
designed for earlier bus architectures such as VME and CompactPCI.

This new high performance Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) uses the Dual-Core
Intel® Xeon® processor and the Intel® 3100 chipset combining excellent memory
and input/output controller functions. It is designed for a variety of uses
within the defence, security and industrial markets, as well as such
applications including wireless base stations, Voice over IP, media-servers and
blade-servers.
The performance of this new Dual-Core based board can be twice that of a
single-core Intel® Xeon® processor as well as being energy efficient for
thermally dense computing environments.
