              Appointment of new Vice President for North America              

Concurrent Technologies Plc ("Concurrent"), a world leading specialist in the
design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products, announces the
appointment of Brent Salgat as Vice President (VP) of Sales and Marketing for
North America.

Brent received an Electronics Degree from Michigan Technological University,
and has been working in the electronics industry since 1988. He has extensive
experience working with companies in the embedded computer market place, and
has held a variety of positions, including technical support, sales and sales
management dealing with board level products.

The new VP brings a wealth of sales experience and market knowledge to
Concurrent, and will play a key role in further strengthening the market
position in North America. He joins at a particularly opportune time as the
company releases its latest Core Duo based products to the market place.
Concurrent views this as an important step forward in increasing its already
strong hold in the North American market.
