Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc (AIM: CGNR, ESM: CGNR.I), the gold
exploration and development company focused on Ireland, which is planning to
develop its first operational gold mine at its Clontibret Gold Project in Co.
Monaghan, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Michael Brennan as
Project Manager.

Michael Brennan, who hereto has been working on a consultancy basis with the
Company, has over 25 years' experience in the mining industry. He started his
career as an exploration geologist with De Beers and has since worked on
diamond, gold and base metal projects throughout Africa and Europe, holding
various senior management positions including project development and
operations.

Projects he has been involved in include the development of the River Ranch
diamond project in Zimbabwe for Auridian Limited, the management of the
Skorpion Zinc pre-feasibility study in Namibia for Reunion Mining Limited,
major plant modifications and the re-commissioning of the 1.6 mtpa Lerala open
pit diamond project in Botswana for Mantle Diamonds Limited, the development of
refractory gold resources at KweKwe, Zimbabwe for Delta Gold Limited, the
development of the Nkana copper oxides in Zambia for Mopani Copper Mines and
the development of the Ruashi copper-cobalt project in DRC for Metorex Limited.
