APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL ADVISER

Reference is made to the Major Transaction and Continuing Connected Transactions announcement of Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd (the "Company") dated 11 September 2015 (the "Announcement"). Unless otherwise defined in this announcement, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement.

Quam Capital Limited has been appointed as the independent financial adviser (the "Independent Financial Adviser") to advise the independent board committee and the independent shareholders in connection with the Leasing and Factoring Business Cooperation Agreement. The letter of advice from the Independent Financial Adviser in respect of the Leasing and Factoring Business Cooperation Agreement will be included in the circular to be despatched by the Company in due course.
