Diageo plc (the "Company") announces that the Persons Discharging Managerial
Responsibilities ("PDMRs") named below were, on 13 October 2006, granted
options to subscribe for ordinary shares of 28 101/108 pence each in the
Company ("Ordinary Shares") under the Company's UK Sharesave Scheme, namely:
