THE DIVERSE INCOME TRUST PLC (the "Company")

The Company announces that Mr Michael Wrobel, a non-executive Director and
Chairman of the Company, purchased 10,000 ordinary shares at a price of 78.55p
each on 12 August 2014.

Mr Michael Wrobel's notifiable interest in the Company's shares now totals
210,000 ordinary shares and 66,666 C shares (representing 0.07% of the total
voting rights).
