The Diverse Income Trust plc (the "Company")

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Calum Thomson as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 20 December 2016. Mr Thomson will replace Jane Tufnell as chairman of the Audit Committee with immediate effect.

Mr Thomson is a qualified accountant with over 25 years' experience in the financial services industry. For the past 21 years, he has been an audit partner at Deloitte LLP, specialising in the asset management sector, with clients including a wide range of managers, investment trusts, banks, sovereign wealth funds, large charities and private equity funds. During his career, Mr Thomson has led Deloitte LLP’s global and UK asset management groups. He is a trustee of La Serenissima.

There are no other details or disclosures required under LR 9.6.13R of the Financial Conduct Authority’s Listing Rules.
