The Board has been notified today that the Managing Director of Lawrence, Mike
Brent, has acquired 75,000 Lawrence ordinary shares at a price of 97 pence per
share as a result of the exercise of options granted to him on 23rd August
1986.
Following this acquisition Mr Brent holds 176,000 shares, representing
approximately 0.67 per cent. of the Company's enlarged issued share capital.
The Board has also been notified today that two employees have acquired 33,000
ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company as a result of the exercise of
options over the following:
15,000 ordinary shares at a price of 97 pence per share granted on 23rd August
1996
9,000 ordinary shares at a price of 130 pence per share granted on 27th August
1996 and
9,000 ordinary shares at a price of 125 pence per share granted on 16th
October 1998.
Accordingly, application has been made for 108,000 new ordinary shares to be
admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market on Wednesday 6th
August 2003.
Following this, the number of shares in issue will be 26,297,952.
