                             Dealings by Directors                             

The Company has been informed that James Mellon yesterday bought in his own
name 2,000,000 ordinary shares of nil par value in the capital of the Company
at a weighted average price of 8.9625p per share.

Following the purchases James Mellon is interested in 31,537,443 shares,
representing approximately 8.87 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary
share capital.
