                              Holdings in Company                              

The Company received notification yesterday that following recent transactions
CG Asset Management Limited holds, on behalf of its clients, 11,550,000
ordinary shares in the Company, equivalent to 3.68 per cent. of the issued
share capital of the Company.

These shares are held as follows;

Capital Gearing Trust plc  5,050,000                 1.61 per cent.            
                                                                               
CG Portfolio Fund Ltd      6,500,000                 2.07 per cent.
