Blocklisting application

                   FIDELITY ASIAN VALUES PLC ("the Company")                   

Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and to the London
Stock Exchange Plc for 12,188,500 Ordinary shares of 25p each ("shares") to be
admitted to the Official List.

Admission has been granted today, 12 May 2010, and trading will commence on 13
May 2010.

These shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issued
pursuant to the following scheme:

12,188,500 Ordinary shares of 25 pence each arising upon exercise of
Subscription Shares

When issued these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary
shares.
