Fidelity Asian Values PLC announces that on 2 August 2010 the Company issued
and allotted 8,684 ordinary 25p shares with effect from 30 July 2010 following
the exercise of the conversion rights attached to the subscription shares.

The total issued ordinary share capital is now 60,978,843

The conversion rights attached to a total of 12,151,870 subscription shares
have not yet been exercised.
