The Board of Fidelity China Special Situations PLC ("the Company") confirms
that Mr. Douglas Naismith has resigned as a Director of the Company with effect
from 1 March 2011 following his departure from Fidelity International and Mr.
Gary Shaughnessy has been duly appointed as a Director of the Company with
effect from 1 March 2011.
The Chairman of the Board, Mr. John Owen commented:
"I would like to welcome Gary to the Board and thank Doug for his valuable
contribution to the Company. Doug served as a Director from the Company's
launch in April last year through to its successful C share offer in February,
and the Board wishes him well for all his future endeavours."
Mr. Gary Shaughnessy is Managing Director of Fidelity International's UK
Defined Contribution and Retail business. Mr Shaughnessy is also a Director of
FIL Holdings Limited, FIL Investments International, FIL Investment Services
(UK) Limited, Financial Administration Services Limited and FIL Life Insurance
Limited.
