Appointment of Non-executive Director

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Vera Hong Wei as Non-executive Director with effect from 24 March 2016. Ms Wei will also serve as a member of the Management Engagement, Nomination and Remuneration and Audit Committees of the Board.

Ms Wei is a Chinese national with 18 years’ experience in the Chinese financial industry which spans the central bank, commercial bank and asset management sectors. Her previous roles include Managing Director of Greenwoods Asset Management, Vice General Manager of Ping An Annuity in Shanghai, Head of Corporate Banking at Shenzhen Development Bank and director of the People’s Bank of China. She is currently the Chief Executive of the Sloan Culture and Education Exchange Ltd, which brings Chinese students and executives to study and undertake exchange programmes in UK schools and higher education institutions. She divides her time between China and the UK.

There is no other information to be disclosed pursuant to LR 9.6.13R in respect of Ms Wei. As at the date of this announcement, she has no beneficial interests in the ordinary shares of the Company.
