Transaction in Own Shares

Fidelity European Values PLC announces that the Company on 14 May 2007
repurchased for cancellation 25,000 of its own shares at a price of 1,351.75
pence per share and 12,000 shares for 1,350.50 pence per share. The total
number of shares now in issue is 61,330,551.
