Amendment to Total Voting Rights Announcement

Fidelity Japanese Values PLC

The issuer advises that the following replaces the Total Voting Rights
announcement released on 2 July 2010 at 14:37 under RIS number
PRNUK-0207101436-ADEC. The number of ordinary shares issued should have read
4,858 ordinary shares issued following the exercise of conversion rights
attaching to subscription shares and not 3,745 as previously announced. The
issue share capital of ordinary shares with voting rights should have read
95,664,318 and not 95,663,205 as previously announced. The number of
subscription shares without voting rights should have read 19,028,516 and not
19,029,629 as previously announced. All other details remain unchanged. The

Voting Rights and Capital as at 30 June 2010.

This announcement is made in accordance with DTR5.6.

During the month of June 2010 Fidelity Japanese Values PLC did not repurchase
any of its own shares. 4,858 ordinary shares were issued following the exercise
of conversion rights attaching to subscription shares.

As at 30 June 2010 Fidelity Japanese Values PLC's issued share capital consists
of 95,664,318 ordinary shares with voting rights and 19,028,516 subscription
shares without voting rights. Fidelity Japanese Values PLC holds no shares in
Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Fidelity Japanese Values PLC is
95,664,318.

The above figure (95,664,318) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Fidelity Japanese
Values PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
