The Board of Fidelity Japanese Values PLC announces that as previously stated
in the Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2011, William Thomson has
resigned as Chairman and as a Director of the Company with effect from 10 May
2012 and has been succeeded as Chairman by David Robins.
