Change of Auditor

Fidelity Special Values PLC (‘the Company’) announces, following Shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting held yesterday, the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP ("EY") as its independent auditor, replacing Grant Thornton UK LLP ("Grant Thornton").

Grant Thornton has been the Company’s independent auditor since 2006. In line with best practice, the Company conducted a formal tender process, which concluded with the recommendation to Shareholders that EY be appointed as the Company’s independent auditor.

The Board wishes to thank Grant Thornton for its years of service to the Company.
