Correction - Transaction in Own Shares

The issuer advises that the following replaces the transaction in own shares
announcement released on 23 January 2008 at 13:45 under RIS number
PRNUK-2301081344-6FA3. The repurchase price should have read 504.00 pence per
share and not 505.00 pence per share as previously announced. All other details
remain unchanged. The full amended text appears below.

Fidelity Special Values PLC announces that the Company, on 23 January 2008,
repurchased 300,000 of its own shares for cancellation at a price of 504.00
pence per share. The total number of ordinary shares now in issue is
57,682,003.
