The estimated un-audited net asset value, calculated in accordance with the
guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for Finsbury Growth &
Income Trust PLC at the close of business on 6 May 2009 was 210.87p (ex income)
211.87p (cum income).

Fully Diluted

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the reissue of all of the
2,533,250 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market share
price on 6 May 2009 was 210.63p (ex income) 211.59p (cum income).
