FINSBURY GROWTH & INCOME TRUST PLC

Second Interim Dividend

The Board has declared a second interim dividend of 5.7 pence per share in
respect of the year ended 30 September 2013, such dividend will be paid on 8
November 2013 to shareholders on the register on 11 October 2013. The
associated ex-dividend date is 9 October 2013.

The Board does not intend to recommend a final dividend in respect of the year
ended 30 September 2013. The total dividend paid for the year will be 10.5
pence per share (2012: 9.8 pence per share) an increase of 7.1%.
