                      FINSBURY GROWTH & INCOME TRUST PLC                       

                            First Interim Dividend                             

The Board has declared a first interim dividend of 5.5p per share (first
interim dividend 2014: 5.1p per share) in respect of the year ending 30
September 2015. Such dividend will be paid on Wednesday, 6 May 2015 to
shareholders on the register on Tuesday, 7 April 2015. The associated
ex-dividend date is Thursday, 2 April 2015.
