guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for Finsbury Growth &
Income Trust PLC at the close of business on 10 October 2008 was 178.01p (ex
income) 178.89p (cum income).

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the reissue of all of the
1,938,750 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market share
price on 10 October 2008 was 178.05p(ex income) 178.89p (cum income).
